While each member state is encouraged to dedicate the year to youth, there are already events planned for 2010. The 5th World Youth Congress will be held in Istanbul, Turkey from the 31st July – 13th August. There is also a World Youth Congress to be held in Mexico City from 24th-27th August, 2010. Singapore will also be hosting the Inaugural Youth Olympic Games from 14th-26th August. A separate World Youth Congress under the auspices of the UN is also planned and the resolution requests the President of the GA to conduct open-ended consultations with member states on this matter.</span></p> <p class="texte">Youth in all member states are encouraged to press onto their national governments and civil societies the need to further promote youth</p> <p class="texte">involvement in the decision making process with this as its platform.</p> It is also a great opportunity for the promotion of the youth delegate program in member states that currently do not include them in their national delegations<div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/8268197168164517032-7111247075215345462?l=internationalyearofyouth2010.blogspot.com' alt='' /></div>yeath_yearhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05970709284772417644noreply@blogger.com0
